Admin Nimbus of Team Retro Rocket recently attempted to decipher the complex core programming of the original Simulated Battle Ball in order to replicate its effects. However, this proved to be a formidable task for even her accomplished skills. According to her lab notes she drew inspiration from the Lake of Rage event in Johto to induce a Forced Evolution Wave (FEW) on Pokémon during the SBB therapy. So far she has managed to integrate this technology into the battle ball with some success, allowing her to trigger growth in the contained Pokémon beyond that gained from mere simulated battles. Due to the endless technical difficulties and error messages Leader Delta had the project cancelled. As a final modification Nimbus successfully fused the simulation technology into the defence systems for the Retro Rocket Base by stripping the ball’s netting and threading spools of it into the psuedoballs of the stolen Silph Co. turrets giving the guard Pokémon a wild and aggressive demeanour.
