Francois Chevalier
Online chatter seems conflicted on Francois. First hand accounts tell of a gentlemanly nature and kind demeanour. A handful of online comments and articles paint him as a bully due to the post-game interviews of his opponent, regardless of opinion the majority of comments are abuzz about the Kalosian Contender.
Recently seen in Saffron City, sporting a full team of six Pokémon, rumours tell of a budding appreciation for collecting Pokémon.
Alejandra Hernandez
An enigmatic girl from Paldea. Mixed public perception. Net chatter speaks highly of the performance of ace Pokémon Galleta. Her true personality is unknown however online communities tend to paint her as a punk tearaway with a foul mouth due to her appearance at the Beginner’s Cup. Recent chatter from trainers offer a different perspective. She is often referred to as the Paldean Prospective.
Alejandra is rumoured to have battled her sister on the outskirts of Vermillion City and emerged victorious, net chatter deems this improbable however trainer records for Official Battles seem to confirm this.
She has recently has been seen in Saffron City speaking with her prior opponent in the Beginners Cup, Amelie, quashing rumours of bad blood.
Erik Longfish
Some comments on forums suggest Erik is a returner to the Pokémon League, others reason this can’t be possible as he just recently won the Beginner’s Cup. This victory earned Erik sponsorship from the prestigious Silph Co.
Many comments speculate on his personality with rumours flying about his turbulent past. Sometimes known as the Alolan Avenger. 4Chansey comments refer to him as either the Unovabomber or /ourguy/.
Sources claim his former friend and alleged closest competitor in the Alolan League, Makani Keiko, is making inquiries into his whereabouts.
Recently spotted in the company of Interpol Agent Detective Ashikaga, rumours abound whether he is aiding the police by choice or if he has been placed under arrest.
Kenji Toriyake
The Kantoan Prodigal Son. Online chatter speculates on his comments at the Beginner’s Cup. What is his relationship with Koga? Are they family? He is sometimes referred to as the Kanto Kid, or alternatively, Koga’s Comeuppance.
Recently spotted wearing a Chimon School gi in Saffron City. His brother, Koichi, recently went missing during a tragic accident at the controversial Team Restoration Rocket Day Care Ranch.
Kiba, son of Janine, grandson of Koga, has recently been seen attending lunch with Kenji’s parents, further fanning the rumours of some relation between the Koga dynasty and the Toriyake family.
Felix Kenzo
An early loss at the Beginner’s Cup lent Felix an air of the underdog. Net memes often show him in the chibi style. This seems to have given him a surprisingly strong groundswell of support. Felix is known affectionately as the Unovan Underdog.
Online chatter is that he has a fierce rivalry with Sheldon Takahiro, another pupil at Striaton Trainer School. This rumour is compounded by recent updates to the Pokémon League Tables which show a decisive victory over Sheldon at the school of Chimon.
Online memes now mostly depict Felix rapidly morphing from the classic chibi form to a highly detailed shonen protagonist style.
Timmy Winsmore
Winsmore was first seen in the VIP box with the Professor Samanea and Argento Kessler. Net chatter about Timmy is conjectural. Is he a child of one of them? Is he a prodigy? He is often referred to as the Sinnoh Speculative.
Timmy is rumoured to be Professor Samanea’s newest subject due to repeated sightings with the prominent Prof.
Often depicted as comically mischievous. Known to like streetza. Recent polls on 4Chansey place his ‘Cheek Pinchability Rating’ at a 7. Whatever that means.
Kudo Kurogane
A troubled youth from Goldenrod City. His crude, arrogant demeanour tends to repel those around him. Despite his rough exterior Kudo frequently approaches trainers who have arrived in Goldenrod under the pretence of a friendly Pokémon battle only to unleash the full might of his formidable team. After finally being taken under the wing of the patient and mindful Professor Apple it seems that this attitude is beginning to wane.

Ramona
“Net chatter makes repeated mention of ‘Ramona’, a Paldean ‘fortune teller’ who travels the world offering insight and advice to young trainers. Despite many reports of a ‘Ramona’ on the internet no actual evidence of her existence is conclusive. The earliest known report of a purple haired Paldean psychic in Kanto dates back to 1989, as a protestor during the purchase of tracts of Cinnabar Island and then again as a witness to the return of the Lavender Fourteen. If anyone ever manages to get her to stay long enough to chat please send her my details. Given her estimated age in the Cinnabar Island photos she’s probably around 53 years old” –FissionChips
Owen Brindle
Owen Brindle, a member of the Pokémon Expedition League and close friend of Argento Kessler. Owen was asked to work with Aubrey in excavating and logging the items and Pokémon found in the Underground Waterways which have recently opened in many of the underground passageways in the Kanto region which seemingly link to other regions, giving these areas a vast biodiversity in both flora and fauna. However during one such expedition in Diglett’s Cave South he was injured during an intense Pokémon battle with a Berserk Rhydon and subsequently taken to Celadon City Hospital. Even weeks after the initial injury he lingers in a comatose state though doctors are confident he will recover his full faculties before long.
Supernerd Benjamin
An ex-Rocket Grunt who initially discovered the Diglett Cave South cavern containing the newly revealed Waterway. Despite his claim to finding it the excavation project was handed to Owen Brindle by Argento. Incensed, Benjamin contacted Vincent who offered him a powerful Berserk Pokémon in exchange for Retro Rocket’s access to the cavern.
Benjamin was injured during the escape from the collapsing cave. After recovering he was handed to InterPol to process. Currently incarcerated at Unova Prospekt awaiting trial.
Detective Ashikaga
Like a Growlithe with a bone. He’s never left a case uncracked. Ashikaga was featured as the arresting officer in all but one case in the last three years of InterPol’s records. Records indicates he was responsible for the arrest of several high ranking members of Team Plasma. Known for being a man who does the right thing first and foremost. Despite his arrest records showing a long history in Unova early transfer files indicate he may have originally joined the force in Orre or possibly have been transferred from their ranks to the Unova InterPol branch in the early 2000’s.

He specialised in Fighting type Pokémon to begin with but found himself stuck in a rut. By chance he encountered a Medicham, as he watched the Pokémon perfectly balance physical and mental power Chimon realised that he, too, could be more than mere muscle.
After years of studying, meditating and soul searching he reached inner balance and perfected his art. He defeated the Elite Four and immediately realised he had reached his peak. With nowhere left to go he walked away from battling for sport. His only remaining goal was to teach those who follow in his footsteps.
Eventually he met Helena and Braxton from Saffron City, a young Psychic type expert and a male Fighting type expert who were bitter rivals. Under his tutelage they became fast friends and co-leaders of the Saffron City Gym.

Professors
Professor Rodrick Samanea

Their tasks often involve investigations into serious crimes and infiltration of criminal syndicates. InterPol is always recruiting as their turnover rate is one of the highest in any industry. The hours are long and the pay is insufficient but justice is it’s own reward. Allegedly.
The Fabled Pokémon Society
A well renowned and well funded organisation which splintered from the original Pokémon Fan Club. The Fabled Pokémon Society consists of zealous Pokémaniacs driven by a fascination with ‘Legendary’ Pokémon.
This group of enthusiasts indulges diverse ideas regarding these legendary entities and harbours sometimes misguided hopes of making monumental discoveries.
The Society adopts a hierarchical model for its members based on their knowledge depth, significant findings, and overall contributions. This allows for possible upward mobility, with titles such as Lorekeepers, Mythologists, or Legendary Scholars attributed to distinguished members.
To fulfil the shared dream of finding ‘Legendary’ Pokémon, the Society organises research expeditions to sites of potential significance. These targeted locations vary from historical ruins to hidden caves, from sacred grounds to uncharted terrains, in hopes of evidencing or encountering these elusive Pokémon.
Team Retro Rocket
The Outline
A splinter cell of the original Team Rocket who are looking to bring back the glory days of the past, they’re a mafia like organisation who hero worship Giovanni and think of Silver as a prodigal son. They seemingly emerged from nowhere with rare Pokémon and prototype technology. Team Retro Rocket have rapidly become a shadow looming over the Kanto region.
Leader Delta
A veteran of the original Team Rocket, he led the Lavender Tower raid in 1996 with Koichi and Vincent under his command. Delta is also known, infamously, for the Marowak massacre during the same incident. Later, he revived Team Rocket under a new banner, Team Retro Rocket, he leads their efforts to reclaim control over Kanto. A growing number of online commenters in the Kanto/Johto region have mentioned being approached by someone matching his description, offering them the opportunity to wield powerful Pokémon beyond measure.
Admin Stratos
No nonsense and hard nosed. Lucia worked with Koichi at the Day Care Ranch as a fellow Retro Rocket infiltrator. During an altercation with Koichi, who was seemingly trying to leave Team Retro Rocket, the argument escalated into an explosive Pokémon battle that reduced the Ranch to splinters and cinders. Admin Stratos demonstrates a much less restrained killer instinct than her compatriots. She generally prefers the company of her Pokémon over that of other humans.
Admin Jetstream
Enigmatic and mysterious, Jetstream doesn’t often speak and when he does he commands attention. Despite his fierce loyalty to Delta he has never revealed his face to any member of Retro Rocket. Easily the most crafty member of Retro Rocket with advanced training in the arts of the shinobi. Not to be underestimated.
Admin Nimbus
The scientific lead of Retro Rocket, Nimbus is behind the worst of the experiments, including the genetic and chemical experiments on Abra’s, the attempts to recreate and upgrade the Simulated Battle Ball technology that Retro Rocket got their hands on, integrating SBB tech into the stolen Silph Co. turret pseudoballs and attempting to rework old Team Rocket and Team Snagem technology to utilise against trainers.
Even experts are perplexed by her style of programming, considering it the work of either a lunatic or a genius.
Vincent
Despite not being a fully fledged member of Team Retro Rocket Vincent was still a keen participant looking to earn himself an Admin title. His role mostly involved doing their dirty work such as providing a catastrophic distraction aboard the ill-fated S.S. Anne and attempting to wrest control of the Diglett’s Cave Underwater Waterway from Silph Co. sponsored Pokemon Expedition League encampment. Unfortunately, before his plans for Adminship could come to fruition he was caught by Detective Ashikaga of InterPol and his deputised trainers. Vincent decided to walk away from Retro Rocket and turn informant once Ashikaga offered to do anything within his power to aid his beloved Rhydon in recovering from his grievous wounds.
Despite his rough nature and violent actions he cares deeply about his Pokémon and is working with Silph Co. to undo the damage of the SBB. However whether this is out of genuine remorse or as a means of reducing his sentence is yet to be seen.
