A mixture of library and wrestling arena the Vermillion City Gym is a far cry from its previous incarnation as a makeshift bunker. Inspired by his Sensei, Argento set about making the Gym into a bastion of perfection, for the mind and the body. Don’t be fooled, however, this place is still a Pokémon Gym and Argento does not go easy on trainers who expect an instant win.
